Trivet

This trivet was my first project in my advanced clay class, and it holds a special place in my heart. The challenge was to create the trivet from a single slab of clay without any attachments. To get the intended structure, it required to be traced and carved precisely.
      My inspiration came from my home and my mom. She likes dark blue because it gives a sense of calm and richness. The gold paint on the inside of the trivet mirrors the gold accents that are scattered throughout our house, In addition to improving my technical abilities, this project gave me the chance to add personal touches that made it a genuinely original work.
