3D Sculpture
For the 3D Sculpture project, we utilized a website to experiment with dimensions and create a 3D-printed sculpture of our choice. I aimed to design something complex that would be challenging to craft by hand, with the intention of using it in my room to hold flowers.
I created a vase with a unique twisting form, and structural in-and-out curves. For the glaze, I chose pink for the inside, as it is my favorite color and is the main color in my room. The outside of the vase is white to complement the other white elements in the space, and the lip of the vase is finished in gold to match the gold accents throughout the room. This project not only allowed me to explore advanced design and crafting techniques but also resulted in a beautiful, personalized piece that beautifies my room.
